Expo Web Design - Frequently Asked Questions

We have included the majority of our frequently asked questions regarding our web design and development services in one convenient location.

1. I sent you the contact form, what's next?
We will contact you via e-mail within two business days with a price quote and may ask you for more details about your project. After we have all the information we need, we will build a website mockup for you. The mockup will be available online on our server so you can see it and give us your feedback. If you approve the design we will finish it, if you don't - there is no commitment.

2. What is included in your website design price?
The price includes a complete custom website with 3 to 10 web pages, a logo/header design, SEO optimization and submission to the major search engines. We do not charge extra for slide shows, PayPal payment or donations options, social media links or live feeds, custom e-mail forms, etc.

What is NOT included in our prices: hosting service and domain name, content writing, excessive content, etc.

3. What website content do I need to provide?
Once we agree on your website design, you need to provide us with all the content (text, pictures, links, etc.) for your website in a high quality digital format. We cannot accept handwritten text, scanned pages (images), very low quality or watermarked photos, etc.... If you do not have any pictures, we may include some free stock photos at no extra charge.

4. How much is the upfront cost to get my project started?
We do not ask for any commitments or deposits upfront. You have to see and approve the initial mockup. We will never ask you for credit card numbers, personal info, or other sensitive information.

5. Do you create Wordpress websites and/or Online Stores?
Yes we do.

6. Can I just call you to explain my ideas about my website?
In order to keep track and record of each of our current and future clients, we prefer to communicate via e-mails and our prices are based on that. If you have questions, you can reach us via e-mail at info@expowebdesign.com

7. How long will it take to have my website completed?
It usually takes 3 to 5 business days after we have all the content (text, pictures, etc.) from you to have your project completed.

8. Will I be able to update the website you created for me?
We use the WordPress platform, that has a simple dashboard where you can log in and edit your website content in an editor, similar to editing a MS Word document. After completion, we will also send you some video tutorials which will show you the WordPress basics.

9. I have a lot of text and pictures that need to be included in the website you are building for me - is there any additional fee for the extra work?
Our prices are based on a reasonable amount of content per each page. Any excessive content may be subject to a small additional fee.

10. Who owns the website once it is completed?
The website belongs to you and if you wish to update it on your own or use another web design company - you are completely free to do so.

11. How much time do I have to provide the content for the website that you are designing for me?
We expect to receive all the content and complete the project, within no more than 6 weeks after you approve the initial mockup. After this time frame the project fee needs to be paid in full, if you want us to continue with the project.

12. Do you redesign existing websites?
Yes we do. We can redesign, retaining your current style, or we can redesign to give it a complete new look. We will redesign your website by taking advantage of the latest web technologies and making it Search Engine Friendly.

13. I see "Expo Web Design" on the bottom of my website pages. Why is that there and can you remove it?
These links are included in each website we create and they help us keep our prices low. The client may request to remove the link for an additional fee of 10% of the total project price.

14. Do you provide a hosting service and domain name?
If you need a domain name and web hosting, please see our Recommended Web Hosting page for some reliable and affordable hosting providers. You can choose the domain name you like (if it's available) at the same time when signing up for hosting.

15. Will my website design be Search Engine and Mobile device friendly?
All of our websites are created with search engines in mind and the website design is compliant with search engine guidelines. They are also responsive and work well on modern mobile devices.
